An intro to me and this blog.

Hello, Internet! My name is Jeremiah.
I grew up in northern Michigan and moved to southern California after High School. At the end of the summer, I joined the Marine Corps, where I worked as technician fixing various optical instruments and weapon systems. I spent the next six years stationed in Southern California. While stationed there, I deployed to Iraq a few times. I received orders for Recruiting Duty and was assigned to be stationed in Pennsylvania. After Recruiting Duty was over, I chose not to reenlist and was honorably discharged. I am now a freshman student at Penn State University.

So, why did I start a blog? This blog is for my English15S Course. Most (if not all) posts will be course-related. Rhetoric and the theme, "The Arts at Penn State" will both be reoccurring aspects of much of the writing.
